With the RL100 lock securing your doors, you and your guests can check-in anytime of the day or night, using the unique code provided. You don't even have to be there to supervise the process. The RL100 is a remote access control system, specially designed for lodging establishments where the physical handling keys or keycards are a particular business problem. The RL100 benefits businesses like time-share facilities, apartments, condos and corporate suites, where full-time on-the-spot management of the check-in/checkout process is neither profitable nor practical.
The RL100 is simple. You generate a unique code, which you supply to your guest by telephone, fax or Internet. This code allows your guest access to a specific door for a specified period of time. Guests can use the code you supply them for their entire stay, or change it to their own easy-to-remember code. When the stay is over the code expires automatically. There's no re-keying costs for the next guest and no chance a cancelled or expired code can be used again.
About the Lock
The RL100 lock is as easy to use as a telephone. To access their unit guests simply enter their unique code into the keypad and the lock gives both visible and audible signals that it’s open. If they wish, guests can also use the keypad to change the original 10-digit code to a 3-9 digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) they find easier to remember, which will be valid for the same period as the eKey.
The RL100 is flexible. If a guest departs before their specified checkout time a new guest can check in. When the unique code of the new guest is entered, it cancels the old. The RL100 is secure, durable and vandal and-resistant.
The lock is weather-resistant and exceeds all the standards defined by ANSI. The keypad is built to the same rigorous standards as a public telephone keypad. The lock is battery-powered and records the last 1,000 operation, which can be easily retrieved with the RL100 CE, the proprietary programming software.
