RentalLock is a Time Generated Keyless Access Control System (LOCK). It is made up of a "stand-alone" door access control unit combined with a based eKey Generation System (KGS) to provide access to a given door for a specific period of time.
RentalLock will allow a prospective renter to place a reservation, when the reservation is confirmed, the Owner/Manager will provide a confirmation containing the access code to the property (door) for the defined reservation period.
- Potential guests visit your web site and make their reservation online, see their travel agent, or contact you directly.
- Once the accommodations are booked with the corresponding arrival and departure date, a unique access code “eKey” is issued to the client.
- When the guests arrive, they go directly to their rental unit. Using the Express Check In unique code “eKey” they are granted access. The lock recognizes the code during the pre-defined period.
- During the guests stay, there is no need to keep a constant watch on keys or cards and when checking out, there is nothing to return. The lock automatically deactivates the code and is ready for the next client.
With RentalLock, each reservation is given a unique time sensitive access
code (eKeyTM) upon confirmation.
Each eKeyTM is specific to the property and time period selected. It is a
time-sensitive access code that takes the place of a regular front door key. When the vacation stay has expired, the eKeyTM also expires.
The entire process works seamlessly with our property management system or can be used as a standalone Internet booking service. An automated system will streamline your reservation process; guests have the ability to complete the entire reservation process online, including payment and eKeyTM confirmation, giving them instant access to their rental unit.
